Saftsack

In this week’s German Word of the Week, we’ll introduce you to a word that you can call people if you’re annoyed at them. While “juice bag” wouldn’t mean much in English, Saftsack is a perfectly acceptable word to call someone – just try to make sure they don’t hear you, it is still an insult. Saftsack is also used to describe someone who is not very adventurous, much in the sense of couch potato. Hooray to all the ladies out there, as there is no female version of Saftsack!
